Qu'est-ce qu'un Bogle exactement ? C’est en fait le nom d’une sorte de créature folklorique écossaise, mais c’est aussi le nom d’une race hybride de chien, un croisement de Beagle et de Boxer. Les beagles sont des chiens de chasse connus pour leur personnalité très joyeuse et décontractée, et les boxeurs sont des chiens de travail polyvalents, dévoués, courageux et énergiques. Les Bogles sont des chiens très joyeux, joueurs et actifs qui combinent certaines des meilleures caractéristiques de leurs parents.
Aperçu de la race
Les Bogles ont tendance à être plus grands et plus musclés que le Beagle, mais selon quel parent ils prennent le plus, ils peuvent arborer un museau plus court et une tête carrée comme le Boxer ou un museau plus long et plus mince comme le Beagle. Ils ont tendance à avoir de longues oreilles tombantes et un pelage court et lisse. Ils sont une combinaison de noir, marron, beige ou blanc et peuvent être bicolores ou tricolores.

Le Bogle est un hybride en bonne santé et moins sujet aux problèmes de santé graves que l’on retrouve couramment chez les races pures. Cependant, c'est une bonne idée de se familiariser avec les problèmes de santé qui surviennent fréquemment chez le Boxer et le Beagle.
Votre vétérinaire vérifiera les hanches et les genoux de votre Bogle et effectuera des tests sur son cœur ainsi que des analyses d'urine et des analyses de sang. .

Mâle vs Femelle

Parlez aux éleveurs de Beagles et de Boxers pour commencer, car ils connaissent peut-être le Bogle et savent où vous pouvez en trouver un. Vous pouvez également vous adresser à des clubs canins ou afficher votre intérêt pour la recherche d'un Bogle via les réseaux sociaux.
