Dans la bibliothèque du BNOTP : Barclay Butera vivant sur la côte
Barclay Butera est un créateur que j'ai découvert récemment, au printemps de l'année dernière. J'ai immédiatement adoré ce que j'ai vu de son travail et j'ai commandé le livre Vivre sur la côte en avril 2013.
Au fait, c'est un autre un de ces livres dont « l'aperçu » sur Amazon est trompeur et ne rend pas justice au livre. La plupart des intérieurs présentés sont très neutres, mais le livre est rempli de belles maisons côtières chargées de beaucoup de couleurs, comme celle illustrée sur la couverture du livre. Donc, si vous aimez la couleur, vous allez adorer ce livre.
Mise à jour : Ummm, peut-être que les « aperçus » changent parce que les photos que je vois maintenant sur Amazon sont des pièces avec beaucoup de couleurs, sans voir les couleurs. les neutres maintenant.

3 choses que j'aime dans ce livre :
- Les pièces de ce livre ont l'air habitées et elles ne le sont pas. Ce n'est pas peu meublé, comme s'il s'agissait d'une maison témoin sur le marché et dépouillée de sa personnalité. En d'autres termes, les chambres sont lourdement meublées et joliment décorées avec l'impression que les choses ont été « collectées » au fil du temps... mon préféré !
- Un bon mélange de maisons décorées dans un esprit « nautique » traditionnel et de chambres. avec un look cottage de plage plus subtil.
- Une quantité incroyable d'inspiration réunie en un seullivre. J'adore le style de décoration de Barclay Butera... les pièces sont tellement équilibrées et rassemblées ! Butera est un designer talentueux, c'est sûr !
