Dans la bibliothèque du BNOTP : Cottages By The Sea
Après notre visite des cottages du Carmel ce matin, j'ai dû partager un livre que j'avais acheté sur la région il y a plusieurs années. Si vous aimez Carmel, c'est certainement un livre que vous voudrez dans votre bibliothèque. En plus des photos à l'intérieur de nombreuses maisons, cela remonte vraiment à l'histoire de la région, c'est donc une lecture intéressante.

3 choses que j'aime dans ce livre :
- Fournit un aperçu de l'intérieur de nombreux cottages enchanteurs du Carmel, ainsi que de l'histoire de cette communauté
- Les maisons présentées à l'intérieur semblent réelles et habitées, elles ne semblent pas avoir été « mises en scène » pour le livre. Beaucoup de photos, même si j'aurais aimé que certaines soient plus grandes
- Grande variété de maisons et d'intérieurs de styles différents, du cottage au plus moderne. Cela vous donne vraiment une idée du Carmel, considéré comme « la première communauté d'artistes d'Amérique »
