Bienvenue au 555ème Tablescape jeudi !
Comment se passe votre semaine jusqu'à présent ? J'espère que vous voyez un beau temps printanier. Il fait beau ici !
J'ai pris ces photos en fin de journée. Les arbres ont tous complètement disparu, le porche est donc devenu très ombragé tout au long de la journée. Récemment, j'ai bien lavé toutes les bouteilles sur l'arbre à bouteilles. Ont-ils l’air propres et étincelants sur le pont ? Je dois en ajouter quelques nouvelles à l'arbre cette année... je dois être à la recherche de jolies bouteilles ce printemps.
Mon magnolia fleurit de tout son cœur. . Mais mon timing n’était pas bon. Les fleurs semblent avoir dépassé leur apogée ou ne pas être encore ouvertes.
J'ai réussi à en trouver une qui était ouverte et qui avait encore l'air assez fraîche pour notre pièce maîtresse.
J'aimerais que vous puissiez sentir ces grandes et belles fleurs ! Le parfum me fait toujours penser à la limonade. Vous souvenez-vous de ces grands bougeoirs ? Je les ai achetés vers 2008, ils ont donc été l'un des premiers articles que j'ai utilisés dans une table ici sur le blog. Je pense les avoir trouvés dans A Classy Flea si je me souviens bien. Cet endroit me manque... il vient de fermer il y a quelques mois.
Il y a des années, quelqu'un m'a demandé sarcastiquement dans un e-mail si j'avais acheté de la vaisselle pour les utiliser dans des décorations de table, puis je les ai rendus. une fois que j'avais posté le tableau ici sur le blog. La réponse à cela serait,Non. Parfois, si je constate que je n'utilise plus quelque chose, je le donne à mon fils/mon fils, mais je n'achète jamais de vaisselle juste pour l'utiliser dans un courrier et je la renvoie ensuite. Ce ne serait pas juste envers les magasins où je fais mes achats, sans parler du fait que cela prendrait beaucoup de temps.
J'ai pris beaucoup de photos, alors n'hésitez pas à les faire défiler si vous le souhaitez. Je n'aime pas vraiment voir différents angles/vues. Je sais que certains d'entre vous ont dit aimer beaucoup de photos, c'est pourquoi je me trompe du côté de "plus c'est mieux" dans cet article.
Pour ce tableau , j'ai superposé des serviettes à œillets crème sur des serviettes en lin vert foncé. Les deux serviettes proviennent du Pier 1 il y a plusieurs années.
La vaisselle que j'utilise pour cette table est de Syracuse China, fabriquée aux États-Unis. Le motif est Orchard.
J'ai trouvé cette porcelaine vieillie il y a de nombreuses années et c'est toujours l'un de mes motifs préférés.
Un si joli motif, je l'aime tellement ! Les chargeurs percés proviennent de Horchow en ligne en 2008.
Je fais un blanc en ce moment sur le nom du modèle pour ce métal argenté d'Oneida. J'ai acheté ces couverts sur eBay il y a de très nombreuses années. Je dois consulter un article précédent pour me souvenir du nom, mais je parie que quelqu'un qui lira cet article le reconnaîtra.
L'une des choses qui m'a attiré vers ces couverts, outre la beauté du motif, était son superbe patine. Je peux voir pourquoi la patine est si appréciéeen argent sterling et en plaqué argent. C'est succulent !
Les ronds de serviette portent l'inscription « Friends » d'un côté et « Family » de l'autre. Ils ont été trouvés chez Pottery Barn il y a des années.
Vous souvenez-vous de ces petits oiseaux ? Je les ai utilisés pour la première fois dans un décor de table il y a de nombreuses années. Si je retrouve la table, j'ajouterai une photo à ce message. Ce sont en fait de petits ornements achetés chez GardenRidge. J'adore utiliser des ornements comme ronds de serviette, ils ajoutent toujours un peu de fantaisie à une table.
