J'avais prévu de prendre bientôt un rendez-vous ophtalmologique parce que j'aimerais acheter de nouvelles lunettes avant de visiter le Maroc le mois prochain. Je ne pense pas que les contacts et le sable du désert vont trop bien faire bon ménage. 😉
Comme vous étiez nombreux à être inquiets, j'ai pris rendez-vous. Mon médecin traitant m’a dit de consulter mon ophtalmologiste, c’est donc avec lui que j’ai programmé le rendez-vous. Ne vous inquiétez pas, je suis vraiment sûr que je souffrais simplement d’une migraine « silencieuse » l’autre soir. Depuis, ma vision est tout à fait normale. Mais j'en serai sûr et j'en parlerai à l'ophtalmologiste quand je le verrai.
Tablescape jeudi
Il pleuvait et il faisait sombre une grande partie de la journée d'hier, puis la nuit tombait. le moment où j'ai pu prendre des photos de la table de cette semaine. J'en prendrai quelques-unes aujourd'hui à la lumière naturelle et je les ajouterai à la publication plus tard dans la journée.

J'ai utilisécet arbre d'ornement en métal argenté (trouvé à Ross-Simons il y a environ 16 ans) dans les tables de Noël. Aujourd'hui, il est recouvert de petits cœurs roses en verre mercure.

Ou, quand je les ai utilisés sur mon arbre à plumes un an. L'arbre à plumes a été trouvé chez Michaels il y a de nombreuses années.
J'ai également utilisé le petit arbre argenté pour les décorations de table d'hiver afin de contenir des ornements en forme de flocon de neige. (La table peut être consultée ici : Table d'hiver, Nappe de Mère Nature)
Je suis même connu pour y accrocher des biscuits Shamrock faits maison. J'aurais aimé en manger un en ce moment ! 🙂 (Voir cette table ici : Table de la Saint-Patrick avec pli de serviette en trèfle à 4 feuilles)
Des libellules en perles se sont posées sur nos serviettes à œillets. (Les serviettes rouges à bords perlés proviennent de HomeGoods (je pense) et les serviettes à œillets proviennent de Pier 1 il y a quelques années. Les verres étaient un cadeau.
J'ai choisi un modèle simple mais couverts élégants. J'adore ces couverts et je les ai en trois autres couleurs : noir, bleu et ivoire. Celui de ce service de table est leur version blanche. La vaisselle Ichoisie pour cette table de Saint-Valentin est très ancienne et date des années 1920. Il porte l'ancienne marque Copeland Spode et le motif est Tower. Je l'ai acheté il y a de nombreuses années sur eBay.
Les chargeurs percés de couleur crème proviennent de Horchow en ligne. J'en ai acheté une douzaine ainsi qu'une douzaine de chargeurs blancs au design tourbillonnant en 2008. Je ne bloguais pas à l'époque, mais je faisais pas mal de divertissements. J'ai pensé qu'il serait utile d'avoir des chargeurs en blanc et en crème, car ces deux couleurs fonctionneraient avec presque tous mes modèles de vaisselle.

Après le dîner, nous remuerons notre café avec des cuillères en chocolat recouvertes de menthe poivrée. 🙂
J'ai trouvé ça chez Marshalls il y a quelque temps. Ils sont délicieux d'après les petits crumbles que j'ai goûtés !
