Une table de Thanksgiving avec Spode Woodland
Bienvenue au 14ème Tablescape Tuesday !
Récemment, j'ai eu une crise de panique « chinoise » ! Une attaque de panique en Chine se produit lorsque vous entendez ou lisez qu'un fabricant de porcelaine particulier essaie de vendre son entreprise parce qu'il se dirige rapidement vers la fermeture de ses portes. Malheureusement, il y a beaucoup de nouvelles de ce genre qui circulent ces jours-ci.
La société dont j'ai entendu parler était Spode et ma petite crise de panique était due au fait que je bavais depuis un certain temps devant une porcelaine particulière fabriquée par Spode... et j'ai soudainement eu des visions où il devenait indisponible. Maintenant, je n’ai jamais rien fait d’illégal, du moins en connaissance de cause… mais s’il existe un marché noir pour la Chine, je pourrais bien franchir cette ligne ! 🙂 Cette récente nouvelle de Spode m'a poussé à acheter une porcelaine qu'ils fabriquent appelée "Woodland".

Comme Woodland est entièrement consacré aux animaux, en particulier au « gibier », j'ai décidé d'opter pour une ambiance forêt/chasse dans ce paysage de table.
Pour une pièce maîtresse, j'ai utilisé boutures de Leyland Cypress et Fire Power Nandina que je cultive dans mon jardin. J'ai placé le cyprès et la nandina dans un cache-pot que j'avais.
Les faisans étaient la seule chose nouvelle que j'ai achetée pour cette table, enfin... à part la porcelaine . 🙂 J'aime le défi d'essayer de créer un paysage de table qui a unune sensation complètement différente de toutes les décorations de table que j’ai faites auparavant, mais sans avoir à dépenser beaucoup d’argent pour les pièces décoratives.
Vous reconnaîtrez peut-être M. Duck dans mon article sur la salle familiale et dans mon récent article Trim the Tree Thursday. Il est assis sur une petite boîte en bois que j’ai achetée il y a des années. J'adore collectionner les vieilles boîtes.
Cette assiette à faisan vintage se trouve généralement dans une autre pièce, mais j'ai pensé qu'elle était jolie ici sur le buffet pour ce décor de table.
L'assiette à salade Spode Woodland montre un tétras lyre mâle et femelle...
L'assiette à dîner représente un faisan mâle et une faisane...
L'assiette à pain montre une bécassine mâle et une bécassine femelle...
La tasse représente une caille... Je pense que c'est un mâle...
Une bécassine est à l'intérieur de la tasse à thé... Je me demande pourquoi ils n'ont pas mis une caille femelle là-dedans ?
Et la soucoupe montre un lapin courant dans un champ...
J'ai saupoudré quelques pommes de pin parfumées à la cannelle ici et là. Puis j'ai réalisé à quel point les pommes de pin font de jolis porte-cartes.
