Une table romantique aux chandelles pour la Saint-Valentin
Bienvenue au 541e Tablescape Thursday !
L’heure à laquelle je commence à dresser une table pour Tablescape Thursday n’a jamais d’importance, je ne la termine jamais avant la tombée de la nuit. Les photos à la lueur des bougies sont sympas, n’est-ce pas ? 🙂
Mais j’aimerais quand même partager avec vous quelques photos de jour, vous les trouverez donc plus bas dans cet article. Elles ont été prises hier soir et les photos à la lumière du jour ont été prises ce matin. J’espère que vous apprécierez cette table de Saint-Valentin et que vous passerez une merveilleuse, merveilleuse Saint-Valentin !
Les dîners aux chandelles sont de loin mes préférés ! C’est ainsi que chaque repas devrait être apprécié, vous ne pensez pas ?
Faisons passer une loi selon laquelle tous les repas doivent être préparés à la lueur des bougies, même si c’est en plein jour. Nous fermerons simplement tous les rideaux, volets et stores et allumerons toutes les bougies ! Ça te va ? 😉

La bougie de notre pièce maîtresse est entourée de cœurs en verre mercure rose et rouge. Je ne me souviens plus où je les ai trouvés puisque je les ai depuis plusieurs années... c’était peut-être des Marshalls puisque j’y trouve souvent des pièces en verre mercure.
Quelques photos supplémentaires prises tôt ce matin... tu vois les petits cœurs en verre mercure auxquels j’ai accrochéle lustre hier soir ?
Le soleil brillait à travers la baie vitrée de la salle de petit-déjeuner ce matin. J'aime la façon dont il choisit ce qu'il mettra en valeur sur la table.
Les couverts sont de Towle dans le motif King. Richard.
Les verres à pied sont Waterford. Le verre à eau/thé est dans le motif Araglin. Je ne suis pas sûr de la verrerie Ruby Hock, c'est peut-être Lismore. Les deux ont été achetés chez Macy's il y a de nombreuses années.
La vaisselle est vintage Spode Copeland, Tower, datant des années 1920, je crois. Les chargeurs viennent de Horchow en 2008, avant que je connaisse ce qu'on appelle un blog. Je recevais beaucoup à l'époque et je les ai achetés avec des chargeurs à tourbillon blanc, pensant que les chargeurs à crème et les chargeurs blancs couvriraient tous mes besoins et fonctionneraient avec presque n'importe quelle vaisselle.
J'aurais dû déplacer la bougie pour cette photo. . Je vais en prendre un autre et l'ajouter à cet article afin que vous puissiez mieux voir le magnifique motif de la tour.

Un peu plus près...
Les serviettes à bords en velours semblaient parfaites pour la Saint-Valentin. mise en table. Je les ai superposés sur des serviettes à œillets. J'adore utiliser des serviettes à œillets avec ces chargeurs percés, elles fonctionnent si bien ensemble.
Les deuxles serviettes proviennent du Quai 1 il y a plusieurs années. Ils ont toujours les meilleures serviettes ! Je me demande ce qu'ils vont acheter au printemps. Je pense que je reviendrai bientôt pour voir, je n'y suis pas allé depuis un moment.
