Thanksgiving aux chandelles et une pièce maîtresse naturelle
Bienvenue au 64ème Tablescape jeudi !
Récemment, je « discutais » avec mon amie Kathysue... nous nous sommes rencontrés via Rate My Space et
sommes amis depuis. Kathysue a créé une magnifique décoration de table pour Thanksgiving et elle a gracieusement accepté de me laisser partager quelques photos de sa table ainsi que de sa magnifique salle à manger.
J'ai toujours adoré le papier peint à rayures de la salle à manger de Kathysue. ...c'est la nuance de vert la plus douce et la plus jolie. La pièce est si accueillante et fraîche. Remarquez la symétrie qu'elle a créée avec les miroirs, les socles et les lampes.
Kathysue m'a dit : "Le vert est mon neutre et il peut être mélangé avec mes autres couleurs préférées, le noir. et blanc et rose/rouge et bleu cobalt donc je m'amuse à le changer avec des changements simples pour les différentes saisons. Je suppose que mon style est plus traditionnel avec une touche d'élégance et, espérons-le, une élégance simple. »
J'adore la pièce maîtresse... et n'est-elle pas parfaite dans cette pièce ?!

Kathysue m'a dit : "J'aime utiliser des éléments naturels pour mes centres de table, donc rester dans Attention à l'abondance que nous avons, j'ai fait une corne d'abondance sans corne d'abondance.
« J'ai précommandé tous mes légumes auprès de mon producteur de mon épicerie et j'ai ajouté des plumes de faisan. et du blé à l'arrangement, j'ai dispersé des noix pour la texture et j'ai ajouté le faisan argentéet des votives pour l'éclat.
« Ma palette de couleurs était le lin, la crème et le vert avec une touche de noir. La nappe est en lin de nul autre que « Tarjay », les serviettes sont en lin blanc que j'ai depuis toujours. J'ai basé l'arrangement avec un miroir de 4 pieds de long pour la réflexion. »
J'adore les faisans argentés ! Kathysue m'a dit qu'ils venaient d'un magasin appelé Poppleton's à Pacific Grove près de Carmel.
Décrivant comment elle a assemblé son décor de table, Kathysue a déclaré : « Le premier élément que j'ai choisi était la bakélite (couteaux) et le lin, puis le reste m'est venu après avoir réfléchi aux couleurs et aux textures. Les assiettes blanches sont Mikasa, Ultima blanc antique, porcelaine fine super résistante... elles ont l'émail de la porcelaine fine et la durabilité du grès. Le transfert noir est Stafford, une faïence fine au motif Haystack... parfait pour l'automne et ma touche de noir. Les couleurs douces et sourdes sont vraiment ravissantes.
« Le les gobelets en cristal viennent également de Mikasa, les petites flûtes vertes avec le relief des fruits proviennent de l'un de vos magasins à un dollar préférés. Les couverts sont Wallace et les couteaux sont en bakélite Sheffield en ivoire français d'Ebay et de voyages d'aubaines. »
